ebay, buying a car help
im winning a car on ebay, 18 mins left, and its just over 1k, now the guy has emailed and said he wont let it go for less than £1500, there is no reserve.
i have emailed him and offered him 1300 for it, and he wrote back saying 1400 and its mine.
now if i win it at just over 1k, its a leagally binding contract so can i just give him what it sells for if he does not pull it off ebay?

i sold a car on there recently.
i didnt set a reserve and it didnt go for what i wanted, but thats life.
i am selling to the winning bidder at the price he paid - i honour the winning bid, so should they.

is it standard? i am always dubious of the its a standard engine job when he other bits have been upgraded, (lowered, zorst, guages, rockercover, dump valve etc ) and they were never tempted to up the boost?

mate what they mean is when ya report him to ebay they will ban his account, thats the worst it gets !!!!!
but usually he gets a strike warning adn you get told hes been delt with and to relive ya anger you give him negative feedback and then he returns the favour and gives you negative feedback
thats thw worst that EVER happens

He's not legally obliged to sell it to you if he doesnt want to.
He's not actually entering into anything my selling it. You as a bidder are entering into a legally binding contract by placing a bid
But as said, real life tends to be a lot differnet to eBay life
