My pace collapsed on the final map so had to get another on it and i found a nice one sitting outside whilst Alex was at work

Wouldn't surprize me if the fans are going the wrong way i wasn't there to assist 
When we wired mine up i didn't trust him So i did a test by holding a bit of plastic bag in front of them to see if the blew out or sucked in

As your probably aware, I have the new Pro Alloy cooler set up on mine
When I first fitted it, I went for a blast, an temperatures rocketed 
Turned out that I had the wires the fans wrong.. they werent blowing into the rad.. Its worth double checking this Alex...
Put a cloth down my the turbo and se if the air is pushing it back into the engine bay.. also, put a cloth infront of the cooler, to see that its being sucked onto the cooler... The fans are proper good, so the cloth will stick to the cooler Done this test myself..
Also, I can honestly say I have NEVER had a water temperature issue with this cooler fitted..
Hottest days so far, sitting in traffic for ages, like hours
and the fans just cut in and out as normal.. So something is definately not right in your setup dude.. 
On the move... say 40mph, the temps drop and I have never seen the gauge past the R of NORM So deffo stays cool with air to aid it
I had serious probs with the GRS one.. So I bought a Cossi thermostat as this makes the fans cut in earlier.. but with the Pro ally cooler, Ive not needed it.. But in your situation, it may help

i have rad teck with the "single" spal fan on the front......keeps it cool for a little while but if i sit with car running it soons goes to the red!
turbo is no longer water cooled so that should help a little...but still looking at ways to sort it out!
oh and also im touched by your genorosity(sp)...really nice to hear!......i wouldnt have done it tho! .....only joking im guessing as a bloke she had your nutts in her hand when she asked! ..
