Got to agree with Porkie here....bit sick the blatant disregard of some people, not even to the law, but towards other people. By not having insurance it's not some copper you're pissing off, it's the owner of the car you may one day hit.

sorry but even if ya hit my car the insurance aint gonna pay out all the work ive done on it and so i will still be pissed off, being hit at 30 i by a unisured driver i would prefer than being hit at 140 by a man who owns a insurance company

think the point was if you dont repspect the law ya cant expect others too either as my old man hates speeding and thinks that 65 is the proper motorway speed and 70 for overtaking if safe

where most members on here will be in the outside lane and tailgating drivers 3 inches from the bumper at 90 to force them to speed up or move over

whats more dangerous in reality, remember not everyone is a skilled driver

Im not claiming that I am anything resembling skilled hun....
Im just stating that if I damage somebody elses car, in an accident situation, that person is not going to be left out of pocket by my driving, because I have insurance.
Yes if they have a car thats worth x amount and they've spent double on it they'll lose out......but at least they'll be given enough to buy another model of that car rather than having no car...?

All in all I wouldn't like it if somebody hit my car, and then I was left with a damaged car....and nothing towards fixing it...
I just think thats totally disgusting that someone can disregard others so profoundly. As if it's one rule for them and another for everyone else.

I work for the CPS, and I can confirm you DO have to be present for a disqualification, certainly in my area...

I think the points on his license are a clear indication of how fast he is driving.... so I don't know what the hell you are going on about saying we all tailgate and are unsafe and he drives at 30mph?!?!?

Timrud,
Seems odd that each area of the country has different ways of dealing with cases at court.

I just wish it was a uniform system so we all knew where we stood.

thats a dam good point !!!!!!

1 country, 1 fooking law

also think that the part of going court should be allowed to be relocated to where the person attending lives too as if ya get nicked speeding on holiday ya cant fooking attend , or if ya do attend and they adjurn it to get more info ya gotta drive back the following week or 2
