Thanks for the clarification - It neatly sums up the whole situation - in some ways it is worse than I thought it was (for both Ming & Tillio).......

IMO you cant go wrong with AP kit, yes its a bit expensive, but i'ts easy to overlook the superior quality and total back up from AP Racing/AP dealer network.

Also as GurnE said about Godspeed:
If it was my company I would do everything I could to kill a situation like this off as soon as it arose....

Maybe Ian can come on here and tell us if he is at all bothered about this 6 page thread that has clocked up 280 replies

how can tillo of been had.. he paid mm racing the money on the understanding someone else would deliver the kit.. if any one should be getting ultra pissed then ming should be aswell ..

As eagle correctly points out, he definatly has not defended him in anyway, nor should anyone give him any abuse for the fact that he is only pointing out that personally the service he has recieved has been fine.

Admittedly, we have been thru every single scenario under the sun as to why i havn't received the brakes. It wouldn't really be a problem, as the cars not on the road, but i've been given countless ETA's, even taken days off work as holiday to make sure im in for the delivery/ have a fiddle putting them on the car.

As to the last e-mail i sent ian, he has responded by saying they will be sent next week. And unfortunatly, because i was told to pay ming etc..... i dont have any great leverage over ian to get his arse in gear to send the kits. All i can do is get on to ming, in the hope he gets hold of Ian, but at the end of the day, mings got his money, so its of no bother to him either way IMO

Eagles right in saying theres alot of bitching about this predicament, but no one a little closer to Bridgend has been any help in getting hold of Ian for me

Thanks eagle, your pm's on occaisons have stopped me banging my head against the wall, i'm not out to purposefully rubbish his company, but i think this experiance im having should be highlighted.

Roll on next week, see what that brings, either way, the longer it drags on, the more owners club websites it will spill over onto

Unfortunatley I wouldnt buy from them if they were the last place on earth now!!!

Eagle, I didn't mean any offence, you seem a top bloke, but you are very quick to jump on small points on this post. I.e. Every time someone tells Tillio to ask Ian for a refund you are straight in there to say he should be asking MM racing for a refund. It is all very defensive. Personally, I too would be quick to stick up for any company that I receive good service from also. But this is my understanding on this one:

1. MM racing orders one off brake kit and pays for it.
2. Time passes by, no kit received. Brakes dissapeared. (Months)
3. MM racing orders a kit from elsewhere and asks Ian for refund.
4. Kit turns up back at Ians returned by couriers (does he have receipts to prove this?)
5. Refund refused as one off kit.
6. MM racing sells kit on, so asks Ian to post kit to MM racing again.
7. Brake kit dissapears again!
8. 3 months pass still no brakes.. AGAIN!

Now, as MM racing has paid for his own brake kit and sold this one on, if Tillio gets a refund form MM racing then Ming is out of pocket, if not then Tillio is out of pocket, but either way Ian has made money from brakes that no one seems to have!

I never really get involved in posts like this, and i'm sure back on page 1 or somewhere I said Ian was a decent bloke, but this really does take the Rich Tea!

from reading what has happened and from talking to ian ages ago ...

ming pays for kit to be made
takes ages to appear
gets something else as kit appears
refused refund as custom kit

now what i cant understand is ... if ming paid for em why did ian not send em to ming?? i know he agreed to help sell em .. but .. i would of wanted the stuff in my hands as i had payed for em ... oh well no doubt something will happen ... eventually

im being messed about at the moment and if nothing is done in a few weeks i will post and a few will be vewry suprised how it is too

cant be trustung with anyone in the rs game nowdays

im only gonna use a few trusted peeps on here and belive it on not ima is the most reliable for what i thought he would have been, hes a proper business man ( there are loads of wothers ive used but ima had a genuine problem and got it sorted for me )

Now thats a very good point at the very least if refund was refused because they were custom madei would of wanted the kit in me own hands...
I really can't understand why ian just don't get the kit just knocked out pronto

Ian has problems with his old couriers (no shit ) he's set-up a new account with another courier firm.

He assures me that as soon as the couriers set up the account today/tomorrow, he will send straight away

instead of waiting for a account to be set up
better still pay for you kit up front prior to the account being set up that way you still get it asap
