my mates fiesta does this as well.
i was trying to work it out. but he didnt even nitice it was running for about 3 seconnds after he gets out the car.
its only an old h reg 1ltr. and he dont care about it.
i said "u not gonna get that sorted" he said "what".

A badly coked up head creates hot spots in the combustion chamber and causes any fuel drawn into the cylinder, after the ignition is turned off, to be ignited.

Pour redex down the spark plug holes, leave for a few hours. with a cloth over the holes, wind the engine over to expell the excess.
Then take the car for a good thrash!!! It will smoke like fook untill the redex and carbon are burnt off.
I think there is better instructions on the bottle.
