This is what I paid:
£175 for Eurotunnel
Fuel: 500miles there / 500miles back / 300 miles on track (awaiting CC bill for costs, but around £40 a refill).
Hotel: Euros 150 for three nights (double room Bed and Breakfast).
Ring tickets: Euros 144 per twelve laps.
Food etc Euros 100ish (I don't drink), so a LOT cheaper than £1000 .

I wonder if anyone has an evo they want to lend me.
hmmm.... going to that place without a car to drive is like turning up at a hookers with your cock in a bandage... frustrating

ps I reckon I was getting about 4 laps to a tank max
maybe down to a third or less of a tank by 3 laps at which point I re-fuelled.
Fuel can cost SO much on a guzzler of a car at the ring

As for me, I'm not sure. I need to put a lot of miles on the car to assure reliability before driving halfway across Europe!

Andy: Thanks for the offer. Are u up for going? If so maybe I'll come with you and if the car is up for I can drive a couple of laps
Mike: The last car I drove that caught my eye was a supra. I qite fancy a twin turbo one. The steering was excellent, controls very responsive. I know they are quite heavy but I reckon I could pedal one round the ring quite quickly with some relatively decent tyres!
Did you buy Martin's old esc cossie engine? If so, when are we seeing it in your escort!

Can't believe what a different car the Sierra is now to how it was then
Anyway, if all these people on the list go, that's gonna be some serious drinking!
