seriously as to me it looks normal

looks standard to me, you would easily tell if it had been ported by porting marks, that looks like a cast finish, plus the fluts havent been knife edged

so IMO its standard or very very near standard

ginge are u sure u aint gonna cause more problems by trying to re build ur engine.
at the moment u have only have 1 thing wrong, i got a feeling thats soon to change for the worse

the problem is the fooker wont start

i ripped the loom out of it and looked for potental probems but thats fine

the rattle is gonna be sorted with my brand new lifters

the knock with new bearings

the oil leaks with new seals

the starting prob will still be there though
