my best 0-60ft was 1.61 which is high 2sec to 60mph but this was at pod on prepped track, 3.9 at brunters bogging the engine, best to the 1/8th mile has been 7.28@102 the day it broke!!! never made the full 1/4 under power, will post timing slip tomorrow.

Danny, you have done 60 in 1.61 in a rwd saph?
Fook me, you certianly now how to pedal an old barge about, i dont care what suspension setup and tyres you have, thats still good going, even on wrinkles that would be a respectable time by most peoples standards!
Got any details about the car?
Very interesting stuff!

Kev sharp and Steve Scott also have gone under 3 secs when timed by Datron as I remember. I think even the rapid1 realises that although his car is awesomely quick, I think the dodgy timing gear at Ford fair had alot to do with his 2.99.

To put it into perspective, most of the EVO's at yesterdays Haynes sprint event were after the coveted prize for the best 0-64 ft time.......
Most of the cars below were on slicks and MT Evo (Mike Threlfall) has 408 BHP with 428 ft/LBS torque:
Proper MSA lazer timing gear used BTW.....purchased and owned by the MLR Forum

I'm hoping to improve my 60fts by a atleast 1/10th with the car, its still running T5 and the twin plate clucth was bogging the engine slightly, so now boost of the line and a different clutch set up but soon a completely different g/box so the shifts alone will save time down the track.

I know that your new engine is alot more powerful though
I know I don't have to explain to you Rod, but in case anyone else thinks I'm digging at Rod or gas I'm not. Just trying to point out how MENTALLY FAST to 100mph Simon Norris Evo is
