standard ford cd player
does n e one know whether you have to wait awhile when they have had a wrong number put in by mistake 
or is it only ford that can release it to except the correct number as my m8's cabby is only playing the radio/cassette now and all that's on the cd player is the number 10 thats it(this came on after his g/f just pushed the buttons randomly)and the 3 little dashes for the code disappeared

he tried doing what you said and it still shows 10 when battery is reconnected for some reason 
maybe the unit itself has gone up the swanny he wasn't very happy as he spent ages looking for a standard one b4 he found this one.
