Were gettin rid of our works tranny cus we just dont need it any more, its ex BT in great nick with all the bits you'd look for in a van BUT, its painfully slow and got worse over the last few months. I know there not meant to be quick but it takes the piss it wont even do 60 on the motorway and will sometimes drop below that Pretty dangerous when you've got lorries pushin you up the inside lane.

It was ok when we first got it and would happily do about 80 ish but its just tailed off and gone totally flat over the months , its the 2.5 diesel on an S plate.

Is there anythin that I could look for or can anyone reccomend someone around Derby area that could check it out??

Cant really flog it till its sorted. I know you can turn the fuel pump up but that'll make it smoke wont it?

Any ideas?

 

Take it it gets serviced regular?? could be shitty fuel filter!!

Its got about 3k to go to a major service, but come to think of it I know my mate recently ran it virtually out of fuel so I spose the filter could have some shit in it it, but its been poor for a While now tho.

I think the filters gonna be the first thing to try, but wheres the pump on these trannys??

nah pump needed reconditioning dunno where they are located tho
