I'm playing after work tonight!

10 more minutes and I'll be in the car, 40 more minutes and I'll be on the first tee!

The weather's pretty good here, warm and cloudy with a bit of a breeze.

triy titleist DCI cos thay are mor forgiving than blads or taylormade RAC like blads but not ie 3 to 6 have a slit cavity and 7 to pw are more blade best thing to do is go to a driving range and triy them.

titliest DCI's are great clubs and very forgiving.
i know the big golf discount shops are normally pretty cheap but its always worth checking the pro shops on courses as most pro's will match the price of the big stores.and you also get a couple of rounds of golf thrown in aswell
if you ever organise a game in scoltland im well up for it used to play of about 14-15 but reckon would be closer to 20 odds now

Phil i used to slice like crazy. Down to poor setup usually, and you will have an out to in swing. Very hard to rid...

Lee Reynolds, It is definitely out to in that I am doing, 3 times out of 10 I can get it spot on with a driver, 8 times out of 10 with the irons. Did some work on my grip and I usually stick some grass on the mat a foot or so infront of the ball to aim my swing over, i've had it for about 10 years though.

phil i have lessons with john jacobs, a golf legend. Hes been in america helping tiger woods and justin rose etc.

Phil by out to in do you mean swing out then drop the club down inside the line causing a hook. Or do you mean swing out then down across the ball causing a slice.

when i was slicing, i had my hands too loo at address, causing poor take away...flat..then when playing the down swing the clubhead went out of the correct arc I.E away from my body, then i came accross the ball causing a slice. According to the computer, i was about 6 degrees out to in I now stand slightly more upright, hands away from my body, higher and straighter. I hit 90% shots straight and about 15 yrds longer now.

Used to hit the 6 iron as an example 155-160. I now hit it 170 on average.

Jason, by out to in I mean behind the ball the club head is futher away from me than at the same point infront of the tee. I.e. looking from overhead I am playing like a back slash \

I should porbably have some lessons, although I am a lot better when using my dad's Taylor Made driver than my Callaway!

Got a set of American imported "rogues" graphite shafted and quite flexible, took time to get used to them but if you catch them with the whip "sweet" HC is suffering due to lack of time so playing off maximum now.

You've come down a bit then, last time I saw you, you were still off 6 or 7.

How's JT doing in his new job? Ed's doing pretty well these days in Kent.

Played Five Lakes recently?
