Right V-SPEC = Victory Specification as to give it FULL title is little more than standard GTR but has a finned rear diff cover to aid cooling , has 10mm lower suspension and a slightly improved attessa system AND THATS IT
A V-SPEC doesn not have anymore power than a NON V-SPEC
I thought he was joking at first, but now i re-read, and remember that everyone seems to think a V-Spec is somthing special (Think they think it stands for "Very Special" I take it he wasnt joking Proves my point tho, lol

A good one i always hear is the N1 engine is some mega power bulletproof endurance racing engine...
Or in fact almost std GrpN spec thing, stronger than std, but not by much.
One "tuner" i know of has a customers R32 and it has a N1 engine, the tuners claiming 650-700bhp from it and says its the fastest thing ever.
My car will take that thing to bits, i told him the spec in detail, 10 times stronger than a N1 spec, and 10 times more powerful, and even then the "tuner" goes..
"yea, but this is an N1 engine, Endurance Racing, it will do this power for ever, bulletproof"

If you don't know about Skylines spec - people tell you cr*p.
When people who 'know' about cars hear I have a 3 door, I've been asked at least twice "Is it the quick one?? you know the RS500 that came with 500bhp......."
Think any rarish car like the Skyline suffers the same

i know a bloke near guildford who has a yellow evo ( might be a 7 tho) its the makinen edition and last month was thinking of breaking it cos he couldnt get rid of it !!!!
