Default Which Clutch for Stage 3 Escort Cos

Hi,

I know this question has prob been answered loads of times but could anyone tell me what clutch is best for a stage 3 Escort Cosworth? I would have searched for past answers but the search isn't working at the mo.

Any help really appreciated,

I've got an Alcon 6 paddle & new STD Ford cover in mine, pedal is as light as normal, and with a bit of practice/familiarisation, is as easy to use as a normal clutch, imo.

Unsure as the the 'quality' of std Ford cover thesedays - seem to remember something about them changing supplier . Mike R will no doubt know, and can supply the clutch kit at a good price.

You'll also need the flywheel surface ground if going paddle route.

HTH

I've only tried std and Alcon in recent years, Mike will possibly know someone who's tried an Organic one perhaps - if they take the power/torque then the biggest difference I'd imagine would be pedal feel and life?

I don't honestly think Mike would bother selling something not up to the job, as he's quite proud of his customer service record.

Most peeps I know seem to have gone with Alcon or AP* on their Cossies.

*Just realised you meant AP Organic?

Oh yes, but only marginally more than organic, but organic alot more forgiving at the launch and alot quicker through the gears IMO
