computer related question
Im taking my computer back to pc world tomorrow(where i bought it) for a "health check" as they like to call it!!, this is free as i took out an insurance thing.
Anyway my question is, whats the best way of making it so they cant go snooping into my documents and pics etc? putting a password on the folders maybe?
Not that ive got anything dodgy its just you still dont want people looking at your stuff do ya.

Best way? Don't have anyting on there you don't want
If you have something like a USB flash drive thingy you can cut and paste all your stuff like pics, documents, music, movies (nee: porn ) onto the flash memory, then when PC comes back just bus it all back onto the PC again. Depending how much you have to move it takes only a few mins

Not much really, they'll get around that sort of stuff, all they'll do is run a scandisk on your drive, add a disk defragmentation to it, maybe take the case off and blow the dust out, then run your antivirus programs, and a couple of spyware programs, clean boot it if need be and that'll be it.
They keep wanting to do it to my laptop, but there's nothing they can do to it that I can't
