How do you clean up all the hidden files on your computer??? You know when you have accidently clicked on the odd porno site
Do i have to do a full system restore or is there another way???

If you mean from pop ups and the like, the best bet is to install a spyware remover, either spybot or the microsoft one. If you have not used one before you will be amazed at what is on your computer.

 

No thats the problem, when i run spybot i can see it checking files and there are loads of porn site names but it nevers lists them as errors?!?!?!

click delete cookies
click delete files
click delete history

i'v got winxp but the above doesnt work. will not let you delete history believe me i'v tried. is there any other users use your comp?
my bitch uses mine an she seems to be able to do things it wont allow me to do.
she must have it set up so as i cant delete.

 

does she use a pasword to log on ie which user when it boots up ???
system restore wont delete temp files cookies or history

 

System restore clears everything!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You will even need to restore windows xp back onto the computer, thats why i dont want to have to go that route!!!

The only way you can totally remove information on your PC is to smash your hard disc up and burn it!! I'm not kidding either!

When you format a PC the information is still there on the drive! The PC just cant see it

spybot & adaware are not flawless sometimes the show cookies files that you need
so you need to make a back up before you delete the files
