Default yellow parts in ford engine bays

Is it true that everything that has a yellow part in a ford engine bay is a servicable part i.e rad cap oil filler cap etc etc ,and that when ford first started to use yellow injectors on standard cossies the mechanics were taking off the injectors and throwing them away and replacing them at every service ?? Is this why they started to use blue injectors on standard cars??

just something i heard ages ago but allways thought surely no one can be that stupid?

the yellow filler cap ect is true !!!!

the injesctors has to be bollox imo as a service list has a list of parts and the recomended time for changing em

all mechanics have books recomending things to be changed at what milage and service and injectors would not be on that list

or the ones that did do it done it for extra cash !!!!!!, no fooker is that stupid, to confirm ask jim galbally !!!!

As DOO says.....

The yellow parts in the engine bay were there to highlight "routine maintainence items".......I.E. things that the owner/driver of the car was supposed to check at least once a week......engine coolant, screenwash, oil, power steering and brake fluid.
