Default O2 XDA

I've been thinking about getting a SatNav setup for a while and my 6310i is a bit old hat, so I'm thinking about killing two birds with one stone and loading TomTom or similar into the XDA2i phone/PDA.

I'm interested to know if anyone has got/had one and any comments on it as good or bad are welcome.

I have exactly that setup. An XDA IIs and the TOMTOM Navigator 3 software.

Great idea, but a pain in reality.

Your driving along watching your satnav, and the phone rings.

Pain in the ass.

i have an XDA2 with tomtom3 and think its the bollocks, it has never got me lost and is great, as its a work mobile i do receive emails whilst it satnavs but its not really a problem,
also if you get an xda2 or what ever the tomtom software is freely available on peer2peer networks as well

no mate, once u have the receiver thats it!

was thinking about getting it for my xda2i, bout 40-50 quid on ebay and tomtom is freeware AFAIK

works wicked, u can get plugins like petrol stations, speed cameras etc and it overlays it over the map.

so ur in the middle of nowhere, u need petrol (we've all been there) u can bring up ur location, select petrol stations and it will list them (closest 1st). select one and the bitch will tell u which way 2 go

man, u can even get a plug in for Ikea stores!! lol

full UK map is around 85meg, but u can also get the states which comes on about 8 cd's EVERY STATE.

still pondering on getting it
