got my new shell
Over the moon,went to see a nice chap in irland yesterday who has had a 3 door shell stored in a barn for years.
The car looks a state but its only dust on top of wax oil (whole shell).That should take some getting off.
Hopefully it will be brought over in the next 10 days ,so we can get it all painted and built up for August

Was a place just down from Letterkenny,nice chap had a body shop.Showed us some pics of his 500`s he has owned one of them being a 8000mile minter (sounds like the one Paul @NYRS has)and some nice Mk2 Rs 2000`s,he is after another one if any one knows of a good example.
He answered a post i had left on the RSOC board mate ,his first post too 
Some pics ,realy dirty but all wax oil ,will come up splendidly though
The last pic is where it has been for the last 6 years or so,he got it to do a re-shell and didnt get round to it.
The underside is all preped and undersealed ,ther are no dints,or markings under side or top.
Never stamped either
The drivers door had been sold previous but he has thrown in a mint moonstone door and the door mirrors.
Got some of the powder coated stuff back yesterday and cant wait to get started now :banana

Seen you on marton road about 4:30 Craig,gave you a wave out of the Van .See you some tims tommorow as i wont be meeting at the Retail park due to not having a car to go in
