Default clutch cable removal. 2wd cos

How do I remove the clutch cbale from the arm on the gearbox?

Its got to dark to carry on with the engine removal but would like to crack on with it tomorrow night.

cut it off with pliers.

Hole that cable goes threw is bigger on the inside,just slide it sideways

i struggled to prise the arm back with a bar instead of bending over backwards in the footwell to un do the ratchet on the back of the clutch pedal.

Just lift the clutch pedal to its highest point (or grt someone else to) which releases the tension and then pull it out of the clutch arm on the box
