CARBON FIBRE BONNET CRACKED (cry) ? LAQUER REPAIR ?
quick post as a friend of mine has just cracked the laquer on his carbon bonnet ( left tools on top of the engine then shut it lmao )
is it possible to just sand down and re laquer ? only problem i can see with that would be perhaps scratching the carbon underneath ?
anyonw got any contacts or links as to who may be able to repair it ?

It's probably not lacquer, but gelcoat. I guess it depends on the quality of the piece to start with as to how well it will repair.
