Got a tracker fitted to my works van. Brilliant job of hiding it. Its hidden right behind the compartment where an air bag goes. Brilliant cos it broke when they fitted it and it falls off when I stop

rans notice i never mentied whos my traker is made by, the thing is the cossies had about 11 million owners its prob public knowlege by now

mind i have relocated it when i took all the interior, dash, carpets, boot install ( ) out the car as i thought the location was fooking useless, i found it looking for a car jack

the alarm install was the fooking tits though !!!!!!, no need to move that as i couldnt get it out

but seen a few ( all but my cossie !!!!!) cat alarms and imobilisers install soooo fooking shite is totally inbelivable

my mates got a 600 quid alam fitted and the imobiliser cuts are soooooo shit and both cuts on the same fooking wire harness just 1's the posative and the other negative \

the fooking fuse locations where even worse

i would advise all peeps who have a car with any securuty to located it and then do it proper !!!!!!!

Default tracker

the original tracker is good and has a very high recovery rate, gps trackers are good but not so when parked in garages as satellites cannot see.
i have been fitting trackers to cars for around three yrs now some cars being worth £120,000 and its more than my jobs worth to do a shite install ,tracker themselves expect high installation standards and qc random cars .any installer doin shite installs has all the other cars he has worked on checked by tracker if caught

IMO go for GPS with battery back-up... though obviously whichever system you have has its flaws... and to the right person are worthless

now that i dont belive !!!

mine was located in the boot at the side behide the trim panel, thats prob classed as a normal place but not very hard to get hold of

what about cat1 alarms by clifford, ive tidied up and relocated 2 this year for mates as they was crap instalations, to pass the course ya need to have the cust 30cm's apart, the ones i seen where together and the brain 10cm from there on the steering colum, now the alarm install on my cossie is shit hot and the best ive seen and well thought out imo,,i had to move 1 thing but thats just to make it a right cooooont to get it out, the rest was the tits

duno who fitted my alarm as it was on when i got it but i woukld recomend then to anyone
