Default Please help me...this is bad....

...i keep toying with selling the 3dr and giving the whole project up ...i have worked out how much this is costing me and i could add a bit of money and get a Ferrari 348tb ...i am beggining to see why Sean Bicknell and the many others have abandoned this project ...i mean a fooking Ferrari ok its only a 348 but damn even i must be able to pull in that ...I am looking at running costs 600bhp Vs a 348...and is there really are difference and surely we all know whats best....then look at depreciation...at 30k the Horse would still be worth that in the future..whearas a 600bhp 3dr would be in pieces

This is serious folks what would you truly have?...Bare in mind i still would keep the Saff and all the parts purchased so the project wouldnt be a dead duck.....

What should i do,what would you do...a 3dr or a prancing horse

Wouldn't personally feel the need for more than one Cossie in the stable

I think there's a fair few people who've thought after spending shedloads (like you say) "Feck, could have bought x,y or z with what I've spent on that...."

Ultimately though, it's up to you, I mean does it really matter which shell your super dooper engine goes in.....?

I know what's being said and to a large extent I agree. But there is an immense satisfaction from pulling up behins a 5 figure supercar with a blue oval and promptly blowing it into the weeds.

Phil, pick one of your cossies and sell it. Put all your efforts into ONE cossie.
Then proceed to shut the f**K up and stop talking about it and get it finished
and once complete, bring it out for us to see that it is real and not just hot air like all
your posts.

Have to say the Ferrari is a nice car but you are way to ugly to have one and your
dog would only piss on the upholstery and ruin it

Was only a matter of time....

Personally if i ever had the chance to have a ferrari then i would not hesitate!!
If you got one you would still have a cossie anyway, unless you are thinking of selling both to finance it?

phil know how you feel, have considered it a few times myself.

and maybe 600bhp isnt what i want.

Is it really worth spending that extra cash on the extra 50-100 bhp over a 500bhp build, as there alot cheaper, quite easily acheivable etc etc.

Ferraris are mint, but I would rather have a mint big spec 3 door than a 348. Now if it were a f355 the cossie would be gone.

Hmmmmmmm

Prancing Horse ?

Or

Mincing Rottweiler....??

The choice is yours !!

Not much scope for DIY on the Ferrari and I think the first time you get it services you will long for the days of Ł4.99 for an Oil Filter, Ł15 for a fuel filter etc etc etc

Hang on.... is that Mark Shead I can hear shouting...

'Buy the Ferrari and get the fook out of my life...... !'

as said personally i think 99% of ferrari owners buy the car purely because of its "status" and the ego boost.

I dont think many ferrari owners are passionate about ferrari's know its herritage, know how the engine works, appreiciate it as a car and a peice of engine geneius rather than a "object" to pull birds in.

Cossy owners buy cossy's because their passionate about fords and the herritage and what they've done in the past. Why else would you buy a ropey old D reg seirra.

Just my opinion of course

The big engine will just be put in the Saff as that vehicle is just not worth enuff to sell LOL....but it wont be done as quick only as i can afford.

Ryan...i'd buy the Ferrari because its a work of art like my duke plus i cant see them loosing much value tbh...BUT i am scared about running costs and reliability..as to hold its value it has to be strictly NO DIY ....oh and its cause i got a small penis ROFL.

I mean look at THAT chav!!!!!

you obviously aint buying it for performance? as a 600bhp cossie would Kill it?
so you are buying it for looks?

thing is,, 348,, yeah, nice lookin car, but then you see a 355 and its ugly compaired to a 355....

then a 360 comes along and makes both of them look ugly, lol

3dr cossies look wicked all the time. they go like fook (well a 600 bhp one bloody would!) and you can buy the parts from halfords.... (well, sort of lmao)

cossie dont bail now.

Phil,

With the money you are saving by not doing this engine, could you not afford a 355?

If so, I'd drop the Ford like a bad habit

As for getting more respect in a Cosworth than a 348, are you out of your fuckin minds? I'd rather have the 348 than any standard Cosworth, any day of the week.
