As the nice weather is arriving etc, we need some sort of event..

Few average RST's, few modified slightly, and a few weapons

Was thinking possibly Magazine at Brunters as it always makes good reading etc seeing the figures.

I appreciate that timing gear etc doesnt come cheap and I for one wouldnt mind paying abit towards the cost

So, not an event to see who has the quickest RST, but wouldnt be a bad thing... just a group thrash..

Any Mag be up for it, or has it died of death and been done too many times now?

I was thinking.. dont want all madly modified ones... a few of each. Be interesting to see what mods make what difference etc!

Get Performance Ford to do it, last time I went with fast Ford they almost killed us by timing us two thirds of the way down the track and you had to drive between two cones about 20ft apart!

 

To be honest I was thinking about June/July time... but this is probably too soon I guess

Would 100% require magazine back-up + it would make a good feature IMO

Sure we'd appreciate either Fast Ford (as I think Fudgeass and Itsmeagain work there ) or Performance Ford

 

actually if K3V HA's old car is going to be there, maybe Maxpower could come along

thats all well and good mate, but you and I both know, that only the proper modified ERST's need apply for TOTB..

but, perhaps a joint event thingy.. few midly tuned ones as well

my mate has almost finished he 2.1zvh fiesta with omex management als launch control etc he would be up for defo

 

if u remember was 6ft at first and we had to make an issue out of it ffs

ive been to thrashes by both mags, performance ford should do it
would be great if they can get 2 sets of timming equipment if they can afford it!

Just spoke to the lad who bought my car! he needs it remapping due to new turbo & exhaust! so I was correct!

Anyway I have just spoken to a magazine & all is in hand!

Date needs to be set asap Westy so ppl have a date to work too Ive only gotta do 400 more miles to be run in oh and change the gearbox lol

 

I will be in talks with mag over the next week or so!

This will b a basis for the TOTb team so expect to see some big power cars there! but obviously we want a range of cars for the mag! will let ppl know more when I know more!

I for one hope this doesnt turn into a thrash for all the weapons, and will put off ppl with standard or mildly modified rst's
