Default Favorite bands

I actually have too many to name just one but, to name a few:

Green Day (how funny is that dominated love slave song?)
Metallica
Tool
Nirvana (Gods)
Red Hot Chilli Peppers
S.O.A.D
Lost Prophets (mostly their older stuff before they sold out)
Slipknot
Korn
Marilyn Manson (how hot is his version of tainted love? )
Good Charlotte
Murderdolls
White Stripes
Hoobastank
Garbage
Muse (bit girly looking but like their songs)
Skunk Anansie
Sum 41
Blink 182
Alien Ant Farm
Ash
Beastie boys
Bloodhond Gang
The Darkness
Staind (when you've had a shite day)
Bowling For Soup
Kings of Leon
Queens of the Stone Age
Feeder

Was wondering how many others in this looney bin are into bands?

Gonna dedicate this thread to all the greatest bands in the world.

Rock on

I love the chemical brothers. Their new one is soooo cool.

Love alot of house music from a couple of years ago but it's going a bit shite now.

Got 2 RATM albums.

Just bought an IRiver so spent the past week trying to convert my entire cd collection onto my laptop in preparation. Just reached 5GB and haven't even done half!!!!!

Started doing every album but now only doing my favorites first. Jason Donovan can wait. PMSL

New Chem. Bros album is class. Only music I can't really stand is classical shite and all this hip-hop shite/rap etc thats dominating the music market...I really cannot stand it. 50cent/G-Unit, gangsta style...WTF is that all about?!?

Flashdance?.....Wasn't that the one with the woman in leggings and slouch socks? (just kidding)

Why is it that you go to a club these days and all they play is garage, R'n'B, Hip Hop and all that crap? It's fine if you're into that stuff but does anyone know of any good rock bars/clubs in Kent? I know of a few in London but that's a mission to travel to and i used to go to the Black Sheep Bar in Croydon but the music started going a bit weird.

I have Kate Bush's Wuthering Heights album.....

Wildheart: Love Velvet Revolver. Just shows the old ones do it best

I don't really like Stereophonics but i am feeling their new tune Dakota. Good driving tune.

Loved Gun's n Roses when i was younger too.

feeling Gwen Stefani too (no comment)

Saw Metallica live at Leeds. Weren't as good as i thought they would be live but hey, that's why i have every album

And i sang along to Evanescence non stop for about a month.

Forgot to add Linkin Park!!!!! They were awesome at Leeds two years ago. Made my weekend, which was quite a suprise as although i had their albums i thought they were a bit too manufactured. Was happy to be proved wrong.

Some good ones there too matey. Like Less than jake, Rancid, Nofx, Jimmy eat world also.

No one has mentioned any good rock bars yet?

Does this prove my point made earlier about there being no place for the rockers?

Also like the point made about radio stations. Listen to Xfm every morning and they play all chart alternative music but never anything deeper.

In addition to the question about any good bars, does anyone know of any underground stations that play proper rock music? ( i dare anyone to say leicester square or embankment!!!!!)

Could possibly be down to the fact that they headlined on the first night and we'd been driving all day so were really tired. They were nearly an hour late coming on and then refused to play til the crowd moved back. Which as you can imagine was a nightmare to achieve as most people had come to see Metallica. Oh, and they played mostly from their new album but it had only just come out and i didn't know any of the words. VERY IMPORTANT FACT. I like to be able to sing along.

Oh, also because i got elbowed in the eye socket and nearly had my piercings ripped out in a mosh.

Used to listen to metallica, but never really liked the stuff after the black album, master of puppets is defo the best album Have you tried listening to radio stations on winamp, there's tons, and probably 20 odd stations that play rock

There old skool stuff is much better than the new stuff.
