What engine is it for?
for big yank motors on only small increases you can use american kits, but really for smaller engines or larger amounts of nitrous you are far better off with the far superior solenoids in the wizards of nos kit which wont reguarly fail like the yank ones, especially if you are progressively controlling it with a pulse width modulated signal to vary the flow of nitrous.

Yes, massive difference.
The NOS ones the manufacturers specify should be rebuilt every 6 mins during ulsed operation for example, and you have to have a secondary safety solenoid fitted as well for when they fail.
The wizards ones come with a lifetime warranty and never need a rebuild, in fact if anything there is evidence to suggest they get better with age, ive got one set of one of my cars that is 6 years old and never had any problems at all.
Also the speed at which the fuel and nitrous ones open and shut is specifically matched on the wizards kit but isnt on the american kits which can effect your mixture during use.
I really cant recomend strongly enough that you avoid them for anything except a very basic instalation on a motor whre you arent pushing anything very hard.

Ps
dont take my word for it though, offer Rod Tarry 5 grand if he fits an NOS kit instead to his for one run at brunters and i know exactly where he will tell you to stick the kit and it will be a lot tighter fit up there than in a sierra engine bay
