Default Paypal......

What does everyone make of this Paypal thing where they want you to supply all these extra details once your account has reached a certain level?? I have filled all the extra details out, except for the Direct Debit. I have a fair bit of money in there and it wont let me remove it until I have filled it in, but I am not sure if its dodgy, with all the stories I have heard about Paypal.

I've used it successfully in the past, but to be honest I transfer money out straight away. Nothing dodgy has ever happened and money was transfered out within the time they said.

I am only trying to withdraw the money!

But once you have had a certain amount of money through your account, they ask for lots of extra details, which is what they did to me. Something to do with Money Laundering. I blagged most of it, but they wont allow me to continue using the account unless I set up the Direct Debit.

Ive not heard of any problems with it, obviously make sure its actually the paypal site you are on though and never fill out details to any site sent to you in a link in an email claiming to be paypal.

all the direct debit is is that they take about 20p out of your account in two installments just to verify that it's your account. no other money comes out of your account, i've had no problems (touch wood)

nothing dodgy mate - you have reached your monthly limit and are now required to update your details which remove limits.

I had to do this myself.
