Well chuffed that the mould came out in one piece, just need to prep oit ready for the carbon fibre. Its obviously not prepreg but its the next best thing.

I must say, I'm getting more restrained as I'm getting older . Normally I would want to do all this in one day, but this has taken over 5 days of prepping the cover with release wax and then building up the layers of fibreglass. Its also cost Ł130 for the proper resins etc coz the halfords stuff is to crap for this.

i think you should have took the mould from the outside of the plastic cover...

as when you try and cover the f/g mould with c/f it will look like the inside of the f/g mould
