Default Bodywork people (damo v) I NEED YOUR HELP!

I need help with my capri. I am in the process of doing some owrk to her and have stripped the front of the car. I have cleaned area and begun to sand down the front. I am only 18 and this is all new to me and i wanted to do most of the work myself if poss. I wondered if anyone could tell me the correct process to go through to get the front looking good. Below are pics of what i have done so far:
I found the rust spot which wil need sorting what do people reckon i should have done with this rust. The other side is not nearly as bad.
I have access to only a few sanding drill bits and wet and dry right now and wondered what else i need to get the job done including painting. PLease post all comments good and bad as i need to learn. Also can i paint the front using regular aerosol, dont worry im not touching the wings and i am having the bonnet done proffessionally but wanted to attempt front myself as its not well seen and can alllow for a lack in quality. all help greatly appreciated and thanks in advance

The only way to stop that rusting is to cut the rust out!!

BUT you dont have the tools for that so....

At your age I was doing the same thing and use to go for the following....

1) Wire bursh the rust with a drill attachment
2) Jenolite (from halfords)
3) Zinc primer
3) under coat
4) top coat

Then try and get the old underseal off the other side to that rot and see if you can do a similar thing there (obviously without the top coat!).

Where abouts are you in the UK?
