Default Flywheel Question..

If you lightened the Flywheel, would that make quicker acceleration??

yes. Less rotational intertia. There's an old tuning tale that goes something along the lines of a tuner back in the days of Viva's and Cortina's used to offer a power upgrade and all he did was lighten the flywheel and send it back to them and all the customers were always impressed.

lightening the flywheel will make the car rev faster,but it will also make it slow down quicker, so you will lose some of the driveability of the car.
