Default Efi conversion question

Converting from Mfi to Efi, do you have to use the Efi flywheel? and set the crank sensor in the block or can you use the cps on one of the pulleys?

Thanks in advance Andy

you can do it either way mate, if you dont want the hassle of takin the flywheel off, use the pully.

IMO using the pulley/s is bar far better as you can set the amount of advance or retard by a mechanical way aswell as electrical. You can also use different sensors for different results and use. If you have an Escort RS Turbo bottom end, only the 90spec blocks had the hole for the crank sensors. This would mean you need to drill a hole in the block and change the flywheel.... which is pointless if all you need to do is change the bottom pulley instead.

I know that 36-1 and the 4 pickup trigger pulleys are available

Jano
