Keep going, it'll only get better! Learning to drive is one of the things i think every2 should learn

I took 4 tests and 60+ lessons but wouldn't class myself as a good driver, just a nutter

On a serious note ask AJ for some tips as he has just started his new job as a fully qualified instructor

Speeding aint a problem. I was constantly being told to watch the speed.

Should have seen my first ever 3 point turn. Came out of in 1st at about 6Krpm and 40mph . Instructor just calmly said. "Think we'll try that again!

Oh BTW 2nd test pass.

Everyone has good & bad days.
I was giving a chap a lesson yesterday & he almost killed us (tried to take a truck on)
But last week he done really well!
Just stick at it - do you feel comfortable with your instructor? Does he put you at ease?
Pm me your msn addy if you need any tips etc & i'll help you out as much as i can.

I've been told by quite a few learners that im the best instructor they've had
This bird the other day said "i've had 4 different instructors & 40 odd lessons & i still cant get my biting point right"
I had her get it right within 10 mins & then she was doing it correctly for the rest of the lesson

Hmmm, if you feel like that you should try changing instructors.
Practice is always gonna be better than talking about things again & again - it gets boring & the pupil dosnt take it in after abit.
Yeah feel free to pm me anytime & i'll do my best to help you out.

Thats bad news.
If im gonna be late i always call the person & let them know & i always give them a full hour (or 2 if thats what they've booked).
Good luck with whatever you decide to do & dont forget to get in touch if you need any help whatsoever!

Jo

Personally I wouldnt book a test until you're feeling confident in the car. Chances are you'll fail, then feel even lower.

Try not to take the criticism as negative. if hes repeating himself, then its frustrating for him too. Time in a car is the answer, just keep working at it.

It'll come eventually

EDIT:

Try booking 2 hours slots if you can. That way you'll get into a rhythm after 30 mins and still have a hour or so left to practise.

wouldn't worry about it jo. think everyone was crap to start with even if they don't admit it. i was bloody awful and i used to get told off for not driving fast enough, you wouldn't beleive that if you saw me drive now (and with the 3 points on my license! )

stick at it, i nearly gave up but believe me there is nothing like having your own freedom, you'll never look back again, i promise!!
