How could this be seem as a wind up? 
Beleive it or not i am just a little bit into Cosworths owning 2 and pouring money into the old shitters instead of having 1 decent new car to run around in...i instead choose to run a p reg tansit camper as my main vehicle

Car is coming along well. Think its being painted next week. Martin is really excited about it and as an overall package it should be awesome. Will be a multi purpose car Phillipa. Trackdays, sprints, thrashdays, and will be doing next years Gumball
And no it probably won't break Rods topspeed record (which will be getting alot higher soon ) which is clearly what you are getting at but I reckon it will be pretty fast over the 1/4. Not as in mad drag car times, but pretty fast for the multi purpose toy that it will be

Phil,
I'd be quite happy to stake your life on the fact that Martin's car will not only break the current LSR (and actually do it in the confines of Brunters and not require poxy Salt Lake Flats to do so
), but will also beat the current drag racing WR AND lap any circuit of your choice quicker than any current F1 car 
. How's that?
