Just got the car back from the painters & the bottom end is knocking its plums off. Its only done 7k. I new the head was fooked, as i was going to put another head on it, but its now a double wammy tonight

At least the car looks mint on its fresh paint

Oh well watch this space for a mint cossie, fresh paint & new engine for sale.

Fook me did he do a good job

Rear arch cut away, and sorted, both sides had a full paint, front bumper, just got to take the front end off to get the bits painted, grill & morettes etc. Oh and a full buff & polish. It looks like brand new. & last but not least the engine bay had a lick of paint (cough bufty )

I only bought the car to sell...so its time to sell & let someone have a bargain when its done. But dont worry i aint breaking it.

Roll on the house & the house & diesel

Anyway cossies wouldn`t be anywhere near as much fun if you didn`t have to live under the bonnet....

My 406 diesel is piss boringly reliable......sometimes i lift the bonnet and stand lookin at it hopin something will fook up so i can get the spanners out...

Don`t think ill have the same thing with my cossie though...

be a lot easie than a rebuild just bolt it straight in!

 

Did that on this engine Lewis, would have just been easier to have payed the 2k & got mine rebuilt. This engines only done 7k

 

Yea but I'd sooner u line my(well Lee's) pocket than doiin a rebuild!

Plus Im sure i could do it a snippit under 2k as u wouldnt need all the anncillaries(alt, p/s pump, manifolds etc.)

Think id sooner just get this rebuilt than get another engine, least it will start from fresh.
