Just move a few of the blue plastic wrapped tyres out the way at the end of brunters just in case so you can run right thru the parked cars in an emergency...
We did that last Wednesday and fookin good job too as on the 200mph run the Corrollas brakes failed and had to take the emergency exit i made
Good thinking by Adrian too as i didnt expect it at all...

The jag diff is used for this type of thing all the time. Its probably illegal at totb so i will prob not fit it.
Rod I would highly recomend fitting a chute in the interest of safety, how ever it is very important where they are anchor'd, if wrong the rear will start to fly but when fitted correct could save you and the car stopping and also when out of control. As for TOTB they are extremely stupid if they object to cars running them, they wont aid MPH as TOTB best is over a set distance therefore there a safety feature.
If you decide on a chute feel free to call if you need advise.

Steve, does the speed still "count" if you end up going through the emergency hole you have made in the tyre wall, as i thought that the contest everyone was engaging in was what top speed you could get up to and then stop, obviously if you dont have to completely stop at the end it gives you longer to accelerate?
Not that i care either way very much personally, but just thought a few people might start knocking Rod for that if he did what the corrolla did and "cheated" by breaking too late and having to use more space.

Chip, its an escape route if your brakes fail. You really wouldn't want to plan to use it. The amount of ground you are covering at that speed compared with the amount of speed the car is putting on over say 195mph I can't see that little extra making that much difference at all. Just my opinion.

Have seen a few go through the end, Mark did it once & vowed never again, its a car park & a bit hairy. Its OK unless you are out of Control & sideways, best avoided. At 200mph your doing 100m second so makes little difference as its prob only another 1 second or so on the throttle, I dont think anyone would set out to cut it that fine. .
