Need help deciding! ROUND 2!
I'm having to turn to the passion ford faithful here on deciding what front bumper to run on my fiesta tub!
A quick rundown of events:
Decided to try and sort the ever growing heating problems out on fiesta's running the bigger GRS I/C's by lowering it down from standard, then the basis was to use the 12 bore bumper you see here to help with ACT temps on track etc etc................But
then the moment of doubt, someone on this site decided to throw a spanner into the works saying he didnt like it & i should revert back to standard.
Now thats me screwed mentally!
So here the pic's

Or....................

So what do you lovely lot reckon then...........Oh this excludes Paul Ripley & gadget by the way!!!

Stu.H,
But i thought the united colours of Bennetton scheme's were all the rage?!"?!
Seriously though the 12 bore bumper was used purely for the air flow, thats why i mounted the I/C lower!!

Well good thing i won't be taking her down the local Macdonalds otherwise i'd have to agree.
But the whole idea of this now is FUN, track fun so i had to think about the overheating issues fiesta's can suffer with. And these will all become huge probs blatting around a circuit all day!

Ok Franco you asked for it........ I don't care what you've spent out so far this is what I would do:-
Stage 1:- send the intercooler back to Graham and have the bottom pipe raised so it fits over the crossmember
Stage 2:- bin the beautiful hoses that you just had made up for loads of money/modify them to fit the new postion
Stage 3:- Re fit the modified intercooler and a modified standard front bumper
Stage 4:- RS500 style grills in the inner lights with that mesh I got
Stage 5:- Flog the 12 bore to some boy racer in Harlow
Stage 6:- paint all the panels the same colour and repair the rear quarter
Stage 7:- stand back and admire the fruits of your hard work and take it out for a rag.

You know mine ran cooler that standard with the same setup.
It will be fine mate! seriously stop worring about it, surely it would just be a case of shorting the pipes you had made anyway??
