Why cant you re-use these WRC gaskets, What is the point of them? arnt they £300 or somthing

Dave, all thenuts, bolts, etc should be at Ford's today. Its just the bloody bracket they can't get

Dingy, Yeah I know cheers mate. I dont really wanna put it back on, but time is limited and will have to check bank balance to see if I can get a new one by the time the head comes back!

Thought all gaskets were crushed to make the seal....not sure how you can re-crush em...

always wondered what that hole was for on the bottom of the throttle body, and now i know, never seen on a cossy in real life.

just looking at those nuts on the pics at the top, something dont look right there,,,, let me have a flick through my pics and see what mine were lke.... they look too think...

forget that, i thought there was not much room between the head and the nut heads when it was all built back up and it too thick a nut was used this would have forced the inlet manifold away from the head causing said breakagees, but there is loads of room. that bracket missing is the reason i reckon , gutted.
