Quick question
I've just done a head rebuild on my 4x4 saff, when I took it apart there was a vacuum hose in the engine bay that was not attached to anything (in fact one end had a snapped nipple inside it). I've got one nipple blanked off on the inlet manifold which I'm assuming is where one end goes and I'm reckoning that the other end goes to the map sensor as the nipple is snapped off of it, firstly I want to double check that this is correct and need to know if I can fit the 3 bar map sensor that I've got in it's place and still run the car as standard till it goes to the rollers on Tuesday
ok will do mate, I've got the greens and chip but didn't really want to run with them until it's been set up, but it's obviously running like a bag of shite with no vacuum to the map sensor
Just changed it over and started and ran fine with the 3 bar for about a minute, then got it's head up it's ass and started missing, wouldn't tick over and missed heavily as I brought it through the rev range. Turned it off, started it again and was fine again for about a minute, then started missing again, odd
