Default S2 Owners - Show us your Front mount I/C

Anyone got pics of their front mounted intercoolers on an S2? Would like to see how much modification needs to be done [I know in some cases none at all].

Especially interested in those that have modded the front bumper and relocated the number plate

Here's RSTuarts with holes cut in the lower bit of the bonnet to aid air flow to the rad behind, love it or hate it, it works and stu's car is fooooookin mint

oh and for the record if i had the choice again i would have probably left the bumper standard and also not done the badboy bonnet.

IMO modding the front bumper to aid flow is not needed, the ACTS are cold enough as they are.

I think my front end looked aggresive as fook!

but bad bo bonets r a bit chav/boy racerish(gues Im growing up) & i wouldnt cut a bumper like mine without a bad boy bonnet as they just look weak!

i have seen some lesser cuts without bonnets that look awesome!

1 of the best is Dave's (Twins) fookin perfect bumper cut if u ask me!

IMHO, don't think B19 TRB would have been as hard without the bad boy bonnet, just seemed to suit it

I'd worry about cutting that much of the bumper away tho due to all the lanes round here with loose gravel

I remember years ago I had a little pug 106 with a silly front bumper, I took it to the local car wash and asked the bird if she could scrub extra hard to get the pigeons head out the mesh, she walked round to the front, looked at it and ran off to get her boss with her hand over her mouth

Looks good Andy, is it much of a pain to fit? Any cutting of the back of the bumper to get it like that?

Yeah! Think whats there as standard then think of the extra cooling space, it still gets loads of moving air there

Fook me daz, your cars stunning mate

If I was you, I'd sell me those wheels, interior and the intercooler [and bottom end, fook it whole engine] for a cuddle and join the foreign legion.

OR, get a lower lip spoiler for your front bumper as it looks a bit odd at the moment

Maybe even twin headlights would harden it up???
