A family friend in there mk1 focus hit a pot hole and the passenger side seat airbag went off. the car is used for runs but until been faultless . it does have a glove box airbag but that didn't go off. The airbag light is on but ob2 reader isn't finding any faults. do you think the crash impact sensor would be damaged also. Was thinking of putting a resistor (2.2 ohm) i think, on both drivers & passenger seats ignoring those air bags saving them some money


Advice would be great

 

Need to read the fault codes could be anything, you need to be able to clear the light
