hello people can anyone help me i need to no some places that would convert my orion to run cossie engine and 4x4 running gear i have all the bits just need some were to do the work cheers

For about the same price (maybe even less) of converying your Orion you could go out and buy a Saph Cossie

 

cossies are to comon a wnt something different like an orion cosworth

 

I think you will find that Ford made more Orions than Cosworths

But I guess you really like Orions, and it would be unique......

Hey Buddy idea I love it, if you can weld it could be possible to do it yourself but it would be preferable to get a specialist to do the job for you,
if you could get your hands on an escort cosworth floorpan and front end jobs a peach as they are the same wheelbase as each other and use basicly the same main body.
If it were me doing the conversion personaly i'd go the whole hog and convert it to 2 doors and add the cosworth arches with a tasty rear spoiler to the boot lid.
But there again i'm a bit of a show off and love to improve on anything that the manufacturers build.

 

Lets be fair guys fair enough ford did make more orions but how many orion cosworths have you been blown into the weeds by.

rubbibg about 400bhp

used a full escort cosworth floor pan and running gear interior etc

proper sleeper black with louvres in wings and bonnet

and black old skool evo wheels

looks mental

but just been sat up and not used dont think

your going to need to get yourself a 4x4 sierra/escort to cut the floor out of

after that, it will need narrowing, then welded in

I've never seen an Orion cosworth conversion, certainly something different - someone on www.escortevolution.com says he had one though, not been very forthcoming on details, would be interesting to hear of
