Default are these tyres any good?

Mot due in a couple of weeks picked up this smart forfour car very low milage back during lockdown 25k 2005 car. found out the tyres are still the original would i be wise to change these?

I can't tell on my small phone screen but unless they show signs of cracking or deterioration I'd use them.
If they're badly cracked I'd also swap them....

with the cracks on side wall id rather change them rather then taken risk for sake of what it is you no

They are 15 year old tyres with cracks in the sidewalls, no brainer... Change them!

Yep
Code On sidewall shows them as 15 years old so got to be original, I would get them changed If they are perished

15 years isnt doing too bad.

I've seen big name modern tyres that bad at 6 months old. Some modern stuff really is crap.

I am pretty sure that soon on MOT tests the tyres will be checked not just for wear but also age.

Which is another nonsense...and will fuck up many classic cars that do very low mileage....well, the ones that actually go to an MOT.

Many modern tyres are scrap from cracking of shite chinese rubber, often big brand names, at very young ages. Lots of older stuff is still in better condition today !

I'm on my third pair of back tyres since November.... I can only imagine having tyres long enough that the rubber cracks
