"I purchased the car in July 1996 with the intention of building my 'Ultimate Road Car'.
The Latest Conversion was carried out by Mark Shead of M.A.Developments. The resultant 630Bhp is massive but it is the 520ft/lb of Torque that sets this engine apart. Backed up with Progressive Controlled Direct Port Nitrous , Power is approx 750Bhp & 650ft/lb. This is 170ft/lb more Torque than a McLaren F1 and it gives the car incredible mid-range acceleration that the McLaren would struggle to live with.
The 0-60 time is limited by lack of traction, but once past 100mph no production car is capable of living with its acceleration. On the 16th September 2004 201.8mph was achieved along with a 0-100 in 7.1 & 0-150 in 13.3sec.
The brakes, suspension, gearbox and almost every other part have required upgrading to cope.
This car has taken over eight years to complete, I hope you get an insight into the pleasure this project has given me.
