Speed Camera's.....just been flashed!

I believe from my contacts at work that the Notice of Intended Prosecution (NIP) must be served within 14 days of the date of offence. Unless you were in road works I don't think there should have been any Gatso type camera's

Cheers fella's......I thought it was 14 days however unsure. Just keeping fingers crossed as if it does come through judging by the speedo when I got flashed it's probably time to sell both the cars. Doesn't help when you got 9 points on top of that.

Andy - worst case I will defo be asking for proof...but hopefully it will not come to that.
Churchy - The thought did cross my mind mate but the location is proper dodgy...I think it was ontop of one of those motorway bridge signs.
Ran - Wasn't in the Fiesta.....wouldn't of been a problem if I was as rumour has it that the camera shutter speeds are too slow above 175mph or something.
grimmeRST - Surely no one will do that as they would get fkced for installing a dodgy speedo in the first place?

Sunny bad news.
Possibly could just be a dummy flash, (fingers crossed)
They have two weeks to serve an NIP Notice of intended prosecution, which will come with a name the driver form.
Mike its two weeks for an RTA only needs to be served if the person(s) are not aware they have been involved in RTA.
If you know youve been in a crash then no requirement.(in hospital with legs in traction then you`d know)!!!!!
Sunny do you have an elderly relative with a licence still. A mate of mine has his dad on nine points ref his old Evo 6.
PMSL at his dad trying to handle the power let alone depress the clutch.
Or can the missus take em for ya.
Again dependant on the photo as Dave Rose tried this saying his wife was driving and the photo had a clear shot of his moustache
Fingers crossed.

Cheers for the info Mike.
The car in question was RWD....we all know Mike's driving girly 4x4 cars now so that wouldn't pull off.
Alex - The wife is abroad at the moment otherwise it would be the obvious thing to do.
As for blaming Ranj - I might need his help to blow it up as I am sure last time I went round his house he mentioned something about some spare 'Taliban rockets' in his garden shed.
Rene - If we had those in the UK....can you imagine the amount of people covering their reg plates up and testing? Everyone would have 180mph proven written in their signature.
dickymint - I can't think of any elder in the family that can do this. If I do find someone then what happens if they get a producer for insurance?
Just had a chat with a work mate who mentioned that drivers from oversea's can't get done for speeding here.....might be a good'en. Only thing is I've already used the blag once before, it may look a bit hot.

Ask for the photos and if they are inconclusive give them a big list of mates who were all 'sampling' your car at the time as you decided that it might be up for sale (obviously make sure they have proper insurance). Get witness statements from them all and say none of them rememember being flashed.
You are only legally obliged to tell them as best as you can who was driving at the time of the offence. I'm fairly sure you cannot be prosecuted any further if you do this to the best of your knowledge.
