I didn't have any issues, I designed the adapter and purposely left out some operations that I could finish off in my own workshop.
After all, the design I sent was a first off proof of concept.
I corrected the design, but kept it to myself.

Quaife big tooth kit is a solid choice. Consider adding an ATB differential for improved traction and a close-ratio gear set for enhanced performance.
Upgrading the clutch is advisable, and for a more radical option, explore a sequential gearbox conversion.

In the past I've found that any diff with a diff pin, it will break. Hence the ATB works well. IMO overall it's a stronger design, even if it does still allow one wheel to spin in some circumstances
Although a lot of diffs do now have multiple bevel gears and more than a single pin which should help strength....although the 4 pin diff I had in my mini years ago....I broke it too. Diff pins just seem to be a huge weak link.
As for Quaife....not many have good reports on them

Depends. ATB is a very good option for a road car. I've had ATB's in mine, always ( apart from a brief spell with a spool....never again )

nice one. I messaged Domiworks last night and got a reply this morning regarding the cost. He also confirmed the adapter was finished and flywheel would be completed next week.
I will need to price everything up and see how it goes, though looking to be around 3500ish I think
Are you looking at an 8hp50z or 70z?

Instead of fixing everything with the Quaife big tooth kit, you could just upgrade some parts of your gearbox. Better gears, bearings, and synchros can make it stronger and work better without spending as much money on a complete makeover

This is interesting, i've just blown up my box so am looking to drop off to SCS for a rebuild with Barra. But now I'm reading this as an option. Guessing price wise and all in its looking at a fair chunk.

You will need... controller, gearbox, gearbox mount, transmission adapter, wiring, prop, shifter and mount, gearbox thermostat/cooler/lines and probably want a gear display of some sort. On the road, I think I will be just over £4k using an 8hp50, domiworks adapter and Cantcu.
