Default Junction 28... What are they really like??

Just been looking through the trader and seen they have a fair few escort cossies on there...

This F150 Lightning hunting is doing my nut in as i cant find a decent one. Was thinking of perhaps an escort cossie just for the summer then sort a truck out later in the year.

Would YOU buy an esc cos from junction 28 or avoid at all costs???

They get slated mate because they are expensive , But thats crap ,, they sell very good cars and they pay good money for them , so they must charge good money for them when the sell them .
The problem is people want it both ways , they expect people to give them top money when they sell but dont want to pay top money when they buy .
I would say go and have a look at what they have and if you like what you see and are happy to pay what they are asking then how can you go wrong

Joe - The problem is finding a decent agent in the states! There's no way im buying over here as prices are silly! I have my eye on a few but the chap over there is so unreliable its getting on my nerves!! I have found a reasonably priced exporter so i may have to get an F150 bod from one of the owners clubs over there to inspect the one ive got my eye on!

Paul - I see your point exactly.. i suppose they ened to make some money! It wasnt really the cost aspect of things as i do know you get what you pay for, it was just the quality of the cars i was more concerned about!

Silver F150 looks the nuts mate, hold out for it!

I saw an Imperial Blue Escort Cosworth with about 60k mileage on the clock up for £13,500 on Jct 28, I thought that was a bloody bargain, the car was standard and looked mint!

Wish I had 13.5k spare!

Imagine how i feel i drive a Mk1 950 Beige fiesta everyday, it has new fiesta seats in, no carpet, half a dash, no rear seats and no grill....looks like a heap o shite.....I get laughed at everwhere i go in it, and have a E46 330ci and a E30 325is sat at home collecting dust............

Now that hurts....

So the good ole festa gets abused, it got broken into the other day, both windows smashed so have gaffer taped clear perpex in the gaps and left it how it is.....Not gona reapir it which is a shame as it is mint after i put front panel, wing and new door on it.......

Tried to sell it for £100 on xr2.com the other day with 4 months tax and 5 months mot...NOT A FOOKIN CHANCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know JUNC 28 personally I do a lot of business with them, they do have some stunning cars maybe a buit pricy but they do pay very strong money for them, its entirely up to the individual to fully inspect the car they have a ramps and iam sure they have no objctions to putting a motor on them, also all there cars are RAC inspected before sold.so dont go blind ask question and inspect the cars simple aint it,if you dont like like what you see walk away donmt go slagging someone business just beacause you dont like what your have seen

A year or so ago my mate was looking for a Escort Cos and found himself a N reg Petrol Blue one with leather, air con the lot for 11k maybe less at Junction 28, It had 100k on it but it was immaculate and had FSH, as he was only going to keep it standard it was perfect for what he needed,

lovely car and I think he sold it on for not much less than it owed him

I remember years ago junction 28 had a Esc Cos with something like 150miles on the clock from new, I think it was up for 30k !

anyone remember that car?

Well, ive been 3 times and seen about 20 escort cossies in those 3 times. The only one what was any good and worth the money was a under 1000 miles white one...that was about 4 years ago...sicne then i havent seen any good ones, but i aint been for a couple of years...maybe they have changed?? One when i went was 18500...aubergine and looked like it had been painted on a building site there was that much dust in the paint

Looks like Bauer Millet, they are massively priced

I have a contact who can negotiate a good deal and a couple of dealers in Florida, last thing he told me was a 6 month old one he got the dealer to drop the price from $28k to $22k
