Default Park assist

Well I’ve had my M135i for about 18 months but last week used the park assist for the first time. I can reverse park no problem but this is great it does it perfect first time every time I thought it was a gimmick but I love it now

Test drove a 16 plate Focus Titanium with it fitted and was well impressed. It even had a function to take you OUT of the space it had just parked you in!

My 11 plate cmax and my 12 plate focus has it, it's a good system but a bit of a gimmick. I think have used it once or twice but it's so much quicker to do it yourself, as long as you can actually park that is!!

If only they took the license off those who cannot park safely.correctly....vs automating the process on a car.

Whilst a novel feature, it does nothing to help or improve driving or road safety standards. Quite the opposite.

Driving test...."I'd like you to park in this spot"...no problem, switches on auto parking.
