Know how you feel though.... when I had my BMW 850, got the boot and bonnet and one side done the same way.... at work....

Been to see the CCTV today and nothing....all cameras pointing in the wrong direction.
I'm gonna take it to see Chips away on Saturday...if not I'm gonna have to claim on the insurance.
I've spoke to the main car-park controller on site and hes going to put a site wide e-mail out asking for information including a £150 reward for an I.D.

was gonna suggest claiming on insurance if fully comp...
It wont be possible to SMART repair it I'm afraid... bodyshop only..
I can imagine exactly how you felt when you returned to that ... I probably wouldve actually cried and I am actually able to repair it myself

SMART repairs or 'Chips Away' as they are called up here can repair minor dings,chips and scratches without resorting to major body work (i.e. spraying).
They usually just fill the scratches and chips then buff the paintwork (as far as I know??)
Wheres the best place to get it painted do peeps think?
Will it be ok going to an insurance approved body shop ? Or should I demand Ford? Or should I try and go to a smaller specialist body shop?

I know how you feel John, had it done to my old S2 on an Army camp.
Thought that it might be safe if it was surrounded by armed guard, 12 foot walls with razor wire. There's always some jealous nob who is that stupid to do that to someones pride and joy.
Cos of that incident I got pissed off with all the attention and sold it for a hell of a lot less than it was worth.
Funnily enough I got myself another one a year later and now I am very careful about where I leave it.

I will learn from my mistakes to be honest......I suppose I was a little daft expecting it to be ok for a week in this type of car park. I won't be leaving it any where like this again.....(although I suppose it could have happened anywhere)
