Default Panel gaps

Hi all just a quicky I’m restoring my rst s2 what’s the ideal panel gap from wing to bonnet the wings naturaly sit at about 12mm gap ether side is that to much ? Thanks scott.

Most old Fords are pretty scrap for stuff like that...but 12mm sounds huge.

I'd say even 8mm would be pushing it ?

A gap of 12 mm would look awful IMO. Way to wide. Do you know anyone who has a RST s2 which you can look at to see what the normal gap should be?

Try to aim for a 6-8mm gap.

ive no idea but surely 12mm is way to much...? .id have thought 4-5mm would be more realistic .
