Default diesel car service A....?

whats generally included in a service A on a diesel car? mine is due one in 600 miles although its on my c class estate. id ask on the Mercedes forum but its shite on there, worse than the bmw forum

its just general oils fluids and filters then, that's easy enough

on an old car like mine its certainly not going to a main dealer! ill do it myself I think. ive stopped working Saturdays so itll give me something to do

Engine oil and filter every 6k, air and pollen filters every 12k. Diesel filters as and when you think best, I think on Fords they are every 4 years/ 50000 miles?

Probably an oil and filter, top up of fluids, visual inspection of front brakes, steering, suspension, look for leaks, check operation of lights and horn, tyre pressures, inspect tyres....

...although how much of those tasks actually get carried out is another matter.

I don’t know the age of your car but I’m sure if it’s an auto box the fluid needs changing at 5 years or 70k also
