Temp gauge

New to the mondeo family I have a 2006 mk3 st tdci rough idle on cold start up and temp gauge only just moves a bit over 60. Mpg only 35mpg.

I’ve read these have a thermostat in the egr I wonder if that’s jammed open?

Not sure about egr that shouldn't cause temp gauge to do what it does...I wouldn't think.

They have an oil cooler thermostat. That's usually the one that goes.
